Since You Asked...
I have had a love of photography since I was a young girl. I bought myself a $15 Polaroid with some money I had earned from babysitting. When I was in high school, my awesome parents bought me a Minolta and let me set up a darkroom in the basement. I have since been enthralled with creating images.
While majoring in Visual Communications at Gibbs College, I was introduced to digital photography and Adobe Photoshop. Wanting to learn more about photo editing some years later, I returned to the classroom in 2016 and received a Certification in Digital Photography and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom from Pace University; I continue to use the skills I learned on a daily basis, and I am always looking to expand my knowledge of editing and digital design communications.
My photographs have been recognized by several organizations and news outlets, including The Weather Channel, the Vietnam Veterans of America, NY1 News, the Staten Island Advance, the Staten Island Museum, and Snug Harbor Cultural Center among others. I have also participated in exhibits and collectives, such as "Here Is New York" and 2018's summer solstice project "Day in the Life of Staten Island".
